So far I have the camera with  two lenses,  the standard 18-55mm and a 70-150mm Vivitar with adapter.

Both lenses have UV and polarizer filters and lens caps.  

I have a neck strap and  B-grip, belt adapter for carrying purposes.  

Finally I have a flash diffuser, pop-up shade,extra battery and small tripod.

Not shown is the bag they all go in.  Small enough to be portable, without  needing a suitcase.

Veterans Memorial plaques

At the Fountain Hills park there is a Veterans Memorial area with these plaques 

You might notice a couple of the wars are not represented.  For some reason the civil war and war of independence were goofed up and unpostable.

After work today I went exploring in the wash behind our house.  

There recently had been a fire, but nature is growing back.

Night shots at the fountain

These are my first shots with my night time mode.  it takes several shots at once and combines them into one shot. Looks great for a night time shot with no flash involved, although the fountain itself is lit.  The framing of the shot was not ideal, but you get the general idea.
